NHL 1995/96 Leaf Limited Rookie Phenoms - No 5 of 10 - Vitali Yachmenev

This 120-card super-premium set was released in five-card packs. The product was produced to order; Hence 25,722 individually numbered boxes were produced, much less than the initially announced figure of 60,000. This reduction wreaked havoc with insertion ratios on the chase cards, which initially hampered interest in the product. It has since recovered nicely. Rookie Cards in this set included Daniel Alfredsson, Todd Bertuzzi, Radek Dvorak, Daymond Langkow and Marcus Ragnarsson.

This ten-card set saluted some of the league's top first year players. Each card was printed on gold patterned holographic foil and was individually numbered out of 5,000. The odds were announced at 1:24, but the reduction in production altered those somewhat; the actual odds were closer to 1:12.
