NHL 1995 / 96 Topps Superskills - No 37 - Garry Galley

The 1995-96 Topps SuperSkills set was issued in one series totaling 90 cards. The 11-card packs originally retailed for $3.99. The set was a special one-off project designed to capitalize on Topps sponsorship of the SuperSkills program held in conjunction with the 1996 All-Star Game in Boston. The set features the players who were expected to compete in the following categories: Puck Control (1-18), Fastest Skater (19-36), Hardest Shot (37-54), Accuracy Shooting (55-72) and Rapid Fire/Breakaway Relay (73-90). The packs clearly identified which conference and event the cards inside would picture. A one-card-per-pack parallel set, "Platinum", parallels the basic set save for a platinum gilded-edge, player name, and Topps logo. Base set is Gold.
