NHL 1995/96 Upper Deck Electric Ice - No 282 - Darryl Shannon

The 1995-96 Upper Deck set was issued in two series totaling 570 cards. The set is distinguished primarily through the inclusion of a number of noteworthy rookie cards in the Star Rookie (496-507) and Program of Excellence (508-525) subsets. The Cool Trade Exchange card was randomly inserted in 1:82 series 2 packs. The card could be redeemed for special die-cut cards of Wayne Gretzky, Sergei Fedorov, Peter Forsberg and Doug Gilmour.

The Electric Ice cards were inserted one per retail pack, or two per jumbo. These cards featured the Electric Ice logo on a silver foil background.
