NHL 1996-97 Donruss Elite Hart to Hart - No 4 of 6 - Mario Lemieux

The 1996-97 Donruss Elite set was issued in one series totaling 150 cards. Packs contained eight cards and were distributed as a hobby-only product. Card fronts featured a color action photo with a foil background. A 20-card rookie subset was found at the end of the set (#128-147). Key rookies included Sergei Berezin, Patrick Lalime, Ethan Moreau, and Dainius Zubrus.

This special insert set was issued in two parts, one featuring Eric Lindros and the other featuring Mario Lemieux. Each set contains six cards. The Lindros set was serial numbered to 1,996 sets, with the first 188 signed by Lindros. The Lemieux set was serial numbered to 1,995 sets, with the first 166 signed by Lemieux. In addition, Donruss also included a dual autograph of Lemieux and Lindros, serial numbered to just 500.
