NHL 1996/97 Leaf Preferred Steel - No 35 of 63 - Alfredsson

The 1996-97 Leaf Preferred set was issued in one series totaling 150 cards. Five standard cards and one metal card were included. Card fronts featured color action photos, a small team logo, and the player's name in team colors. One edge was also enhanced with etched silver foil with the Leaf Preferred logo. Key RCs included Dainiuis Zubrus and Sergei Berezin.

Inserted one per pack, this 63-card set was the first standard-sized, all-metal hockey set. Cards are silver-colored and come with a protective covering. A gold parallel version also existed; values ​​for these cards can be determined by using the multipliers below. Furthermore, an Eric Lindros promo card was created. It was easy to differentiate from the regular version as it is numbered 77 of 77, and included the word SAMPLE on the back.
