NHL 1997/98 Leaf Fractal Matrix Die Cuts - No 134 - Bertuzzi

The 1997-98 Leaf set was issued in one series totaling 200 cards and was distributed in 10-card packs. The fronts featured borderless color action player photos. The backs carried player information. The set contained the topical subsets: Gold Leaf Rookies (148-167), Gamers (168-187), and Day in the Life (188-197).

This 200-card set is parallel to the base set and featured color player photos with either a bronze, silver or gold finish. Only 100 cards were bronze, 60 cards were silver, and 40 cards were gold. No card was available in more than one of the color. Bronze-X cards had a stated print run 1400 sets. Bronze-Y cards had a stated print run 1600 sets. Bronze-Z cards had a stated print run 1700 sets. Silver-X cards had a stated print run of 500 sets. Silver-Y cards had a stated print run of 700 sets. Silver-Z cards had a stated print run of 800 cards. Gold-X cards had a stated print run of 50 sets. Gold-Y cards had a stated print run of 250 sets. Gold-Z cards had a stated print run of 350 sets. These cards were randomly inserted in leaf and Leaf International packs.

Randomly inserted into packs, this 200-card set was a parallel to the base set and featured three different die-cut versions in three different finishes. Only 100 cards of the set were produced in the X-Axis cut with 75 of those bronze, 20 silver, and five gold. Only 60 were produced in the Y-Axis cut with 20 of those bronze, 30 silver and 10 gold. Only 40 were produced in the Z-Axis cut with five bronze, 10 silver, and 25 gold. X-Axis cards had a stated print run of 400 sets. Y-Axis cards had a stated print run of 200 sets. Z-Axis cards had a stated print run of 100 sets. No card was available in more than one color nor in more than one die-cut version.
