NHL 1998-99 Upper Deck Profiles - No P13 - Sergei Samsonov

The 1998-99 Upper Deck set was issued in two series of 210 cards each for a total of 420 cards and was distributed in 10-card packs. The fronts feature a color action player photo with player information on the backs. Series 1 contains the following subsets: Star Rookies, Rookie Rewind, and three Checklist cards. Series 2 contains the subset Program of Excellence which consists of the top Canadian prospects, eight Calder Candidates, and three Checklist cards.

Randomly inserted into Series 2 packs at the rate of one in 12, this 30-card set features color action photos of some of the greatest current players in the NHL. Three Tier Quantum parallel versions of this insert set were also produced and inserted into Series 2 packs. Tier 1 cards were sequentially numbered to 1,500; Tier 2 cards were sequentially numbered to 50; and Tier 3 cards were numbered to 1.
