NHL 1998-99 Upper Deck Year of the Great - No GO15 - Wayne Gretzky

The 1998-99 Upper Deck set was issued in two series of 210 cards each for a total of 420 cards and was distributed in 10-card packs. The fronts feature a color action player photo with player information on the backs. Series 1 contains the following subsets: Star Rookies, Rookie Rewind, and three Checklist cards. Series 2 contains the subset Program of Excellence which consists of the top Canadian prospects, eight Calder Candidates, and three Checklist cards.

Randomly inserted into Series 2 packs at the rate of 1:6, this 30-card set features color photos of Hockey great, Wayne Gretzky. Three Tier Quantum parallel versions of this insert set were also produced and inserted into Series 2 packs. Tier 1 cards were sequentially numbered to 1,999; Tier 2 cards were sequentially numbered to 99; and Tier 3 cards were numbered to 1.
