NHL 1999-00 Black Diamond Diamond Cut - No 66

The 1999-00 Black Diamond set was released as a 120-card set comprised of 90 veteran cards and 30 Diamonds in the Rough cards, short printed and inserted at one in three packs, which feature future NHL stars. Player action shots are set against a card background where the middle 2/3 is silver foil and the top and bottom are colored to match the player's team colors. Black Diamond was packaged in 24-pack boxes with 6-card packs and was released as both hobby and retail.

The 90-card Diamond Cut set parallels the Black Diamond base 90-card set in a die cut version and is seeded at 1:6 packs; and the 30-card Diamond Cut Diamonds in the Rough set parallels the 30 prospect cards in a die cut version and is seeded at 1:11 packs. On the front of these parallels, the words "Diamond Cut" appear just above the player's name.
