The 1999-00 Pacific Prism set was released in both hobby and retail versions as a 150-card set featuring both veterans and prospects. The base cards are printed on silver holo-foil, and the prospects are denoted by a red diamond in the lower front right corner. Prism was packaged in 20-pack boxes with three cards per pack.

Randomly inserted into packs at 1:193, this 20-card set showcases NHL superstars that boast impressive statistics. The card is cut and fitted with a fastener in the middle to allow a wheel with stat numbers on it to be spun to display the player's career statistics versus the various NHL teams faced.
