Topps Premier Plus was released as a 140-card set comprised of 81 veteran cards and 59 prospect cards. Printed on a canvas card-stock, this set features crystal clear player action shots with a blue name box across the bottom for veterans and a red name box across the bottom for the prospects. Packaged at 24-packs per box and eight cards per pack.

Randomly inserted into packs at 1:12, this 10-card set features some of the NHL's eligible Calder Trophy winners. A parallel variation numbered to just 250 was also created and inserted at 1:229.
