The 1999-00 Upper Deck HoloGrFx set was released as a 60-card one series set. The cards themselves feature NHL players on a silver rainbow foil holographic card with background color to match each player's team colors. This set was packaged as a 36-pack box with packs containing three cards.

Randomly inserted in packs at 1:3, this 15-card set pays tribute to The Great One by following his career from Edmonton to New York on the base HoloGrFx card stock. An AU-SOME parallel was also released for this set that featured a gold foil background. Parallels were inserted randomly at 1:105.
