NHL 1999-00 Upper Deck Ultimate Defense - No UD-8 - Nikolai Khabibulin

1999-00 Upper Deck Gold Reserve was packaged as a two-series release. Series one contained 170 cards and series two contained 180 cards. Base cards use the same design as the 2000 Upper Deck release but are enhanced with an all-foil card stock and gold foil highlights. Prospect cards in both series were short printed and the series two cards were numbered out of 2500. This release was packaged in 24-pack boxes where packs contained 10 cards.

Randomly inserted in Series Two packs, this 10-card set features top goalies on an all foil card with color borders to match each respective goalie's team colors and blue foil highlights. Silver and gold parallels were also created. Silver parallels were limited to 100 serial numbered sets. Gold parallels were numbered 1/1 and are not priced due to scarcity.
